Routepath respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our services to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible via our service, please notify our designated copyright agent as specified below.
Required Information for DMCA Notice
For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information in writing:
- An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information sufficient to permit us to locate the material
- Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us by providing the following information in writing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if your address is outside of Canada, for any judicial district in which Routepath may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Routepath has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our service or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Processing of Notices
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the material identified in the notice
- Notify the user who posted the material that we have removed or disabled access to it
- Provide the user with a copy of the notice
- Terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA notice. If we do not receive notice within ten business days that the original complainant is seeking a court order to prevent further infringement of the material, we may replace or restore access to the material that was removed.
Misrepresentations
Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability.
Modifications to Policy
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our service following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
